Mike Auton started his career as a salesman working for a major Hewlett Packard dealer, before deciding to move into the recruitment market in 1989 (does that make me old? Maybe. But it also makes me an expert!).
After establishing a very successful Technology Recruitment business in the UK, he relocated to the US in 2011, where he has continued to service the Technology sector, though now focused on fast growing startups in the US markets.
He lives on the water in St Peterburg, Florida with his wife Christina and two sons Louis and Max. His passion for helping technology leaders experience explosive growth is second only to his passion for the seas as an avid sailor and boater.
Mike first approached me for a VP of Sales position with his client, iSpot.tv who looked to be a very exciting company. At that stage, they were not quite ready to hire, but he kept me informed and when the position eventally went live, I was interviewed by several key people and then flew over to Seattle to meet the management team. I was appointed as the VP of Sales Mid-West, then later promoted to VP of Enterprise Sales.

I worked very closely with Mike in my capacity as the VP of Sales for iSpot.tv. We first asked Mike to find a single new business hunter for us in mid-2018, he quickly delivered the perfect candidate who went on to be very successful.
